House Cleansing

I was only 18 when I began to learn how to cleanse a home. The first experience I had, was with my mentor. We went to a woman's house in the city who was having experiences within her home that she found upsetting.  I will never forget the feeling that I had when I walked into her house,  I was overwhelmed with a heavy energy, one that makes you feel weighed down and a little dizzy.  It was determined through energetic feeling and the visions we would see within out minds eye were that of  illness. 

We walked through the house with sage and a singing bowl, calling to the celestial angels whom my mentor works with, to cleanse the home and allow for the spirits to move on and to let them know they no longer need suffer that they were free to move on. 

The most interesting part as well was the energetic vortex that was outside the home, vortex's are interesting things and one such topic I hope to explore further. 

Since my first home cleansing there was only one other home I cleansed that was not my own. This home was effected by an entity commonly known as The Hat Man.  For myself, when I see beings or entities they are always out of the corner of my eye or in my minds eye,  if that makes sense. 

This cleansing was more difficult, as I was alone for the first time and it was not something I have two solid feet in. The entry level of the house went fine, the energy there was more peaceful and it felt like you could breath but as soon as you climbed the stairs it all changed. You felt like you were being watched, like an elephant was sitting on your chest, I felt like I was about to be challenged and when I came to the top step I became very dizzy and almost fell backwards.

Luckily I was able to keep my bearing and press on, in my minds eye I could see what I can only describe as the hatman, just standing there staring at me, motionless. I said my prayers, I sang my songs, I lit my sage and played my singing bowl and then it just seemed to disappear, but it did not feel permanent, it was almost like someone walking out the door to go somewhere but there is that feeling or knowing, they will return , I just didn't know when or even what to do about that, at that point.

Being a novice my cleansing was not complete, their home was good for a time but the negativity and strange happenings did return. They moved shortly after however and luckily they were not followed and have not had any issues since. 

That was the last cleansing I have ever done,  I am really not sure if I will ever do another. I realize the risks that I took now, now that I am older and now that I have studied more on these things.  In the possibility you are someone who regularly cleanses homes I would love to hear form you in the comments below with any experiences you have had, especially when you were first starting out.
